arrived to a dirty room at 8:30pm and the barman was so ‘apologetic’ I had to wait with warm beers—how charming. also, the skeleton key situation is absolutely unacceptable for security, just ridiculous. after all that, not even an upgrade or welcome gift as compensation? ! I almost left a glowing review, but just couldn’t.

One highlight was the ham and cheese toasties. they were absolutely delicious! the accommodation was spotless, and we enjoyed fresh, thick towels during our stay.

Complete lack of wardrobe hooks!!! No TV in the room, forcing guests to congregate in the bar for entertainment!!! Not to mention no iron or ironing board available—something essential for business travelers!!!

Great bar atmosphere with friendly locals gathered for football games. Enjoyed delicious burgers (try the Guinness! ). Perfect spot for a pint after exploring nearby sites.
Noise can be an issue late into the night due to the pub below.
